Dalgona Coffee Goodness, Who Wants Some?

Dalgona coffee, a beverage made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee powder, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk. Occasionally, it is topped with coffee powder, cocoa, crumbled biscuits, or honey.

The name is derived from dalgona, a Korean sugar sweet, due to the resemblance in taste and appearance, though most dalgona coffee doesn’t actually contain dalgona.

How to make Dalgona Coffee?

First thing to remember, you will need these ingredient:

  • 1 tablespoon Nescafé Gold
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1TBSP hot water
  • 3/4 cup to 1 cup milk, chilled or heated
  • ice cubes (optional)

Here’s the procedure on making your very own dessert

Firstly, make Whipped Coffee Mixture. Get a bowl and mix equal quantities of coffee powder, sugar and hot water.

Secondly, blend the coffee mixture using whisker until it is light, frothy and creamy. This might take a good amount of time.

Finally, pour cold milk in a glass cup and add the beaten and whipped coffee mixture over it. Serve chilled.
