Putting a baby into sleep requires some tips and tricks.

Yes, it’s not that easy especially because babies have their own body clock. Night time for them might still be their active mode while day time as their sleepy mode.

If you want to put your baby into sleep, first things first, make sure that your baby’s basic needs are met. Most of the time, babies cry because of a need. Whether they are hungry or uncomfortable (due to wet nappy or air in the tummy), these needs must be met first. After that, once you are sure that your little one’s needs are already met, try a variety of these tips and tricks (in no particular order) to get your baby feel comfortable and happy in no time.

1. Give your baby a warm bath

Medical research has proven the positive impact of a warm bath on sleep among babies. Babies get that sleepy feeling as their body temperature drops. The warm bath effectively raises their body temperature, and the subsequent drop helps them into sleep.

2. Give the baby a soothing massage

3. Put on a fresh diaper and pajamas.

Before sleeping, make sure that your baby is wearing a clean diaper. You don’t want any pee or poo sticking to your baby’s skin for hours while sleeping, do you? Apart from giving your baby comfort, wearing a clean diaper at sleep time avoids skin rashes and bed spills.
