This is especially
suited for the photographer who’s trying to grapple with Photoshop but finds it
confusing and difficult to use, to say the least. And let’s face it: If you’re
not using Photoshop, you are putting yourself at a disadvantage in this digital
age.
Photoshop can be very helpful for the
photographer and you must use it with some of your photos. Whether you’re
shooting with a DSLR, mirrorless, point-and-shoot, or even a smartphone camera,
Photoshop can do wonders to your photographs. But if you’re new to Photoshop,
don’t try to swallow it whole; it will swallow you back, it will eat you. It’s
an 800-pound gorilla with tons of bewildering tools and gazillion features a
photographer never uses. Its learning curve is so steep you might give up
trying on Day 1.
We can help. We’ll teach you Photoshop from the
perspective of the photographer. We’ll talk as photographers and learn
Photoshop tools suited for the photographer. We’ll zero in on specific tools
and features useful for the photographer. No fluff, just Photoshop for the
photographer. And see your photos level up with magic and pizzazz because,
well, you’re using Photoshop.
Attend the workshop, “Photoshop for
Photographers”. We’ll demystify a complicated topic and tame it down, so
photographers can use it. Understand the tools first, how they’re used, then
level up with some tricks of your own.
Come with your laptop, Photoshop installed, any
version (your instructor is using the latest Photoshop CC) and let’s learn
Photoshop for Photographers.
Requirements:
1. A working laptop with Photoshop installed,
any version. No netbooks please.
2. You know how to use your laptop. We don’t do
computer repair or troubleshooting and we don’t teach computers.
3. Energy and enthusiasm for a whole day
workshop, 9am-5pm (with a little overtime perhaps).
